Seattle Shorts Film Fest
Two of my short films, Lunch and Behind Me, screened in two blocks at the 4th Annual Seattle Shorts Film Festival here in Seattle, and I couldn’t feel luckier!
Big thanks to the festival organizers and hosts, Daniel Hoyos and Ashley Cozine. It was so special to be part of the day’s celebrations and watch some amazing films.
My favorite short of the day was The First Hope, featuring one of the best kid actors I’ve ever seen. This Star Wars inspired tale of first love was pitch perfect, awkward, funny and nostalgic. If it comes to a festival near you, don’t miss it. Here’s the trailer:
Good news short film fans, Lunch is now online! Huge thanks to director Todd Downing who wrote this short for Lisa, Brian, and I to play in a giant sandbox of sarcasm and psychology.
Here’s the full film. If you enjoy it, share it!
This festival pretty much closes out the film season for me this year. I’m excited about 2015 and beyond. Thank you for being part of the adventure!

Congratulations!! Wonder. I know Dad and Mom must be proud of you because the Barnett’s certainly are! I hope to come and see one of your shows some day. Maybe in Hollywood!
